Zachary’s brother, Sami, was recently deployed on the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln. As a Troop and as “Citizens in the Nation”, we are organizing the collection of care packages to send to Sami to thank him for his service. The Troop has organized similar drives in the past for members of our community, such as Manoli’s cousin in Afghanistan.
Any donation requires a Thank You card or letter to Sami. We can write one as a Troop or we can collect individual letters/cards.

We will collect and assemble packages in Friday’s meeting. The Troop will send the care packages after our meeting. You don’t have to pack the items in box, we will do it on the 3rd of May.
Reminder:All Scouts must meet Service advancement requirements for their respective rank advancement. In this case, I will grant 30 minutes to each Scout for participating in the care packages. You must contribute and write letter/card.
